摘要: Culture of mammalian preimplantation embryos in vitro has for a long time been regarded as an important tool the study early embryonic development. Embryo culture itself and micromanipulation techniques dependent on it, such embryo microdissection chimaera production, have greatly increased our knowledge developmental processes. Recent advances involving microinjection foreign DNA into mouse its subsequent incorporation expression show exciting possibilities elucidating control genes embryos. This progress is awakening renewed interest from species other than mouse.
