摘要: Dispersion and series gap discontinuity of shielded suspended striplines (SSLs) on Duroid substrate ( epsilon /sub r/=2.22) are analyzed using the finite-difference time-domain method (FD-TD). Numerical accuracy better than 0.15% is achieved when FD-TD used to calculate effective dielectric constant reff/) an air-filled rectangular coaxial transmission line. Data obtained for frequency-dependent reff/ uniform SSLs both scattering equivalent circuit parameters various discontinuities presented. In general, presence sidewall mounting grooves causes a nearly frequency-independent small reduction in reff/. On other hand, proximity effects housing found be more important. For discontinuity, coupling across stronger wider strips and/or narrower width. Irregular behavior also strip wide enough interact strongly with sidewalls. >
