摘要: By H. G. Im1. Motivation and objectivesThe laminar flamelet concept in turbulent reacting flows is considered applicableto many practical combustion systems (Lifihn & Williams 1993). For turbulentpremixed combustion, the regime valid when Karlovitznumber less than unity, which equivalent to stating that characteristicthickness of flame a Kolmogorov eddy; this known as theKlimov-Williams criterion (Williams 1985). In such case, maintains itslaminar structure, effect flow merely wrinkle strainthe front. The propagating wrinkled premixed can then be describedas an infinitesimally thin surface dividing unburnt fresh mixture burntproduct. It has been suggested (Kerstein et al. 1988) front berepresented level contour continuous function G, whose governing equation, derived using Huygens' principle, isOG OGp--_-q-puj.ox j - psLlVal.
