摘要: Abstract A total of ten simply supported beams reinforced with different amounts GFRP and steel bars were subjected to two consecutive test phases in order evaluate their short long-term cracking behaviour. The initially tested up service load additional cycles. Subsequently, the specimens levels sustained for 250 days. effect cyclic during short-term tests resulted an increase crack width 25% more than initial value. led 2.9 times larger that measured under corresponding load. similar behaviour was observed when reinforcing solutions stiffness (GFRP or bars) used. Existing models estimate spacing FRP concrete elements, including ACI 440.1R-06, Eurocode 2 Model Code 2010 are discussed performance is assessed against experimental results. found yield accurate predictions both loading.
