摘要: This paper aims to put into perspective the influence of long-term effects, such as concrete creep and shrinkage, on cracking. Long-term experimental results obtained at Centre for Infrastructure Engineering & Safety (CIES) are reported compared design estimates made using fib Model Code Concrete Structures 2010. The factors stirrup spacing cover discussed. Results show that time-dependent shrinkage-induced cracking can considerably modify patterns in short-term tests. For crack control real structures development models inclusion codes practice, it is strongly recommended account be taken effects. Limiting observations those tests may lead erroneous conclusions simply not applicable more than a few weeks old.
