摘要: Purpose This study measured oral health-related quality of life for children, which involved the construction child perceptions questionnaires (CPQs) ages 6 to 7, 8 10, and 11 14. The purpose this was present development evaluation CPQ 8- 10-year-olds (CPQ8-10). Methods Questions (N=25) were selected from 11- 14-year-olds based on literature input parents, psychologist, teacher grades 3 4. Validity reliability evaluated 68 33 respectively. Results There a positive moderate correlation between CPQ8-10 score overall well-being rating (R=.45). level impact slightly higher in orofacial than pediatric dentistry group (mean score=19.1 vs 18.4, respectively). Hypotheses concerning relationship number decayed surfaces confirmed with R=.29, mean caries-afflicted caries-free children (21.1 14.7). Cronbach's alpha intraclass coefficients 0.89 0.75, Conclusions suggest good construct validity, internal consistency, test-retest reliability, but do not demonstrate discriminative validity. is consistent, however, theoretical models disease its consequences. Further research required, as these are preliminary findings convenience sampling.
