摘要: This study aims to evaluate the impact of untreated dental caries and its clinical consequences on quality life Brazilian schoolchildren aged 8–10 years. A randomly selected sample 587 children underwent a oral examination for assessment consequences. The WHO criteria (decayed component decayed, missing, filled teeth—D-DMFT in permanent teeth or d-dfmt primary teeth) PUFA index, which records presence severely decayed (upper case) (lower with visible pulpal involvement (P/p), as well ulceration caused by dislocated tooth fragments (U/u), fistula (F/f), abscesses (A/a), were used examination. Oral health-related (OHRQoL) was evaluated using Child’s Perception Questionnaire (CPQ8–10).
