摘要: Abstract Ordered mesoporous silica (MPS) is expected to provide an adsorbent for energy-efficient air-conditioning systems, such as desiccant cooling humidity control and adsorption heat pumps, which can contribute the reduction of CO 2 emissions because they offer possibility recovery at temperatures low 50 °C. For these applications, it crucial establish a method fixing MPS on substrates with high thermal conductivity. We have already studied technological feasibility using electrophoretic deposition (EPD) process prepare thick coating powder metal substrate. In this study, we investigated EPD addition small amount binder succeeded in increasing mechanical strength stability coating. The approximately 100 μm-thick showed excellent water vapor adsorption–desorption properties sufficient more than 250 cycles, without any amount. dehumidification per cycle was 0.23 g-H O/g-MPS, correspond 6.9 g-H O/g-MPS/h.
