摘要: Background Active commuting to school may be an important opportunity for children accumulate adequate physical activity improved cardiovascular risk factors, enhanced bone health, and psychosocial well-being. The purpose of this study was examine personal, family, social, environmental correlates active among children. Methods Cross-sectional 235 aged 5 6 years 677 10 12 from 19 elementary schools in Melbourne, Australia. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by parents, the older shortest possible routes examined using a geographic information system.
