摘要: Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is known to influence the natural history of infections with certain hepatitis viruses and interactions between HIV may potentiate replication. There high degree epidemiological similarity B as regard high-risk group route transmission. Transmission C (HCV) through blood transfusion intravenous drug abuse well documented. Present study deals concurrent infection HBV HCV infection. In 110 seropositive patients, 34(30.4%) were positive for 8(7.27%) HCV. The difference concomitant was highly significant compared controls. (p value < 0.0001). Heterosexual risk behaviour observed in 89(80.91%) out which 23(25.8%) 5(5.62%) HBsAg anti-HCV respectively. History transmission unclear remaining patients. Concomitant found be significantly more symptomatic (40.68%) asymptomatic (19.6%). As affect both infection, screening their association necessary.
