摘要: The durability of zeolite X against repeated treatments with microwave heating was studied, and properties the as desiccant were compared assessed those most popular commercial desiccants (calcium chloride) for home use. Mixed cationic forms a ratio Na-X/Ca-X = 5 g/45 g in full hydration used to achieve desirable properties. mixture activated by (2.45 GHz) radiation 15 min 500 W, after it reactivated under same conditions. treatment up twenty-five times. adsorption capacity water decreased increasing number treatments. Analyzing curve decreasing capacity, degradation degree at every determined be 0.013. From this value, which becomes one half its original calculated 54 (defined lifetime) estimated that could adsorb 10.7 times own dry weight lifetime. rates uptake followed two months curves analyzed. reached their lifetimes ca. 120 days absorbed 0.8–0.9 weights total amount is 10 greater when desiccants. Since using activation method exhibits higher abilities, promising repeatedly usable use other areas.
