摘要: Mercury in the aquatic biota and geologic materials areas without anthropogenic sources has been stimulating discussion about possibility of natural Hg occurrence Amazon region. In this study dispersion different as well its relationship with high levels, detected some species carnivorous fish consumed Rio Branco city, is evaluated. Bottom suspended sediments, river water fishes were sampled Acre Purus Rivers their tributaries. Total mercury physical chemical characterization waters done. on top soil upper horizons samples also determined to evaluate potential accumulation these materials. addition dominant minerals by X-ray Diffraction analysis. Furthermore, ten fossilized material analyzed. The analysis carried out CVAAS. mean levels bottom suspensed sediments 0.042 0.060 μg g-1, respectively. samples, below detection limit. values follow: (0.077 μ g-1), lower (50–60 cm depth) (0.117 ferruginous nodules within clayey matrix (0.190 g-1) (0.379 g-1). are 1.287 g-1 species. These indicate a possible bioaccumulation mostly fishes. Although low concentrations found waters, it assumed here that bioavailable can original large from ferruginousnodules
