摘要: We present different linear parametrization techniques for the purpose of surface remeshing: energy minimizing harmonic map, convex and least square conformal map. The implementation those mappings as well associated boundary conditions is presented in a unified manner issues triangle flipping folding that may arise with discrete are discussed. explore optimality these parametrizations remeshing by applying several classical 2D meshing algorithms parametric space comparing quality generated elements. various examples permit to draw guidelines user can follow choosing best scheme specific topology, geometry, characteristics target output mesh.
