摘要: The concept of geomagnetic storm-producing solar plasma flows has evolved and advanced considerably over the last 100 years or so. This particular field study began in an effort to understand disturbances aurora. purpose this paper is try follow ways which early concepts later ones, not review each detail. It fascinating see a step-by-step buildup these concepts, from earliest idea flow electrons coronal mass ejections (CMEs). time line, though tentative, studies presented. author hopes that will serve young researchers consider how they plan advance further scientific field. There still much uncertainty about flows. Some major questions are listed point view geophysicist summary sections by grouping them terms quiet-time wind, streams corona holes CMEs associated with flares.
