摘要: Readout electronics is developed for a prototype spectrometer in situ measurement of low-energy ions 30 eV/e–20 keV/e the solar wind plasma. A low-noise preamplifier/discriminator (A111F) employed each channel to process signal from micro-channel plate (MCP) detectors. high-voltage (HV) supply solution based on HV module and optocoupler adopted generate fast sweeping fixed HV. Due limitation telemetry bandwidth space communication, an algorithm implemented FPGA (field programmable gate array) compress raw data. Test results show that achieves 1 MHz event rate large input dynamic range 95 pC. slew 0.8 V/μs integral nonlinearity 0.7-LSB HV, precision less than 0.8 % are obtained. vacuum beam test shows energy resolution 12 ± 0.7 % full width at half maximum (FWHM) achieved, noise counts 10/sec, indicating performance meets physical requirement.
