摘要: Abstract Monolithic materials stand out in separation sciences because of their tunable properties, easy preparation, high permeability, and readily available surface chemistries. The number analytical applications monoliths has increased recent decades, including innovations sample chromatography and, more recently, flow analysis. This review covers these innovative applications, beyond conventional exploitation liquid-phase separations. New configurations for preparation exploiting as extraction materials, well the approaches synthesis functionalization inorganic, organic, hybrid organic-inorganic monolithic are also discussed.
