摘要: Tobacco cell suspensions treated with an elicitor preparation obtained from Phytophthora parasitica var. nicotianae, a pathogen of tobacco, undergo rapid and transient changes in ethylene biosynthesis lipoxygenase (LOX, EC 1.13.11.12) activity. A kinetic study these early events shows that maximum induction 1-aminocyclopropane-1- carboxylic acid (ACC) synthase (EC 4.4.1.14), ACC production, LOX activity occur at 1, 3, 9 24 h respectively after addition to the suspension culture
