摘要: We propose a Bayesian formulation of the sample size problem for planning clinical trials. The frequentist paradigm for calculating sizes trials is to prespecify type I and II error probabilities. These probabilities are conditional on true hypotheses. Instead we prespecifying posterior which the outcome trial. Our method easy implement has intuitive interpretations. illustrate an application our of cancer Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG).
