摘要: Abstract Objective The goal of this study was to determine the outcomes stage IC endometrial carcinoma patients who are managed with and without adjuvant radiation therapy after comprehensive surgical staging. Methods Patients FIGO adenocarcinoma endometrium diagnosed from 1988 1999 were identified tumor registry databases at four institutions. A retrospective chart review 220 women underwent staging including a total hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, pelvic/paraaortic lymphadenectomy, peritoneal cytology. Results Of patients, 56 (25%) received brachytherapy (BT), 19 (9%) whole-pelvis (WPRT), 24 (11%) both WPRT BT. One hundred twenty-one (55%) did not receive radiation. There 6 recurrences (6%) in radiated group 14 (12%) observation ( P = 0.20). Seven fourteen local, all local salvaged therapy. Two seven distant also surgery chemotherapy. overall salvage rate for 64%. statistical difference 5-year disease-free survival between groups (93% vs 75%, 0.013). However, similar two (92% 90%, 0.717). Conclusion Adjuvant improves patients; however, is improved since majority conservatively can be
