摘要: The atrophy of vigilance hypothesis predicts that the organisations responsible for management hazardous systems will, over time, gradually weaken their safeguards against risk in those systems. is examined here through a case study an environmentally system; marine oil trade Alaska. Contrary to predictions hypothesis, results demonstrate this system have been steadily strengthened (rather than weakened) throughout period. suggest laws and institutions can be devised promote evolution atrophy)
