摘要: Background: Therapeutic cloning is the combination of somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) and embryonic stem (ES) techniques to create specific ES cells that match those a patient. Because derived by (SCNT cells) are genetically identical donor, it will not generate rejection host's immune system thus therapeutically may be more acceptable. Induced pluripotent (iPS) type artificially from an adult inducing forced expression set ofspecific genes. In past few years, rapid progress in reprogramming iPS technology has been made, seems shadow any made SCNT programs. Objective: This review compares application perspective with regenerative medicine. Methods: We conducted literature search using MEDLINE (PubMed), Wiley InterScience, Springer, EBSCO, Annual Reviews databases keywords "iPS", "ES", "SCNT" "induced cells", "embryonic "therapeutic cloning", "regenerative medicine", "somatic transfer". Only articles published English were included this review. Results: These two methods both have advantages disadvantages. Nevertheless, patient-specific lines, eliminates complications avoiding use viral vectors during generation. Success vitro matured eggs aged women even differentiation oocytes germstem further enhance Conclusion: Human appropriate mean generating patient lines for clinical therapy near future. Keywords: iPS, review, SCNT, therapeutic
