摘要: OBJECTIVE To describe the technique of laparoscopic complete urinary tract exenteration (LaCUTE), where specimens are withdrawn en bloc through vagina, and to compare our results for patients had this procedure with those who surgery by traditional open methods PATIENTS AND METHODS From February 2006 June 2008, five LaCUTE three CUTE at institute. The surgical included bilateral nephroureterectomy, pelvic lymphadenectomy, radical cystourethrectomy, hysterectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy. RESULTS In group mean (range) patient age was 58 (46–73) years, blood loss 378 (290–490) mL, operative duration 492 (405–560) min hospital stay 12.2 (9–17) days. All negative margins on pathological examination. significantly less but longer than group. At a follow-up 14.5 16.0 months, respectively, there no evidence recurrent cancer in both groups. CONCLUSIONS With further experience improvement techniques, vaginal specimen withdrawal will become feasible uraemic female urothelial cancer.
