摘要: A blue glass composition comprises a soda-lime-silica base and colorant portion consisting essentially of about 0.4 to 0.65 weight percent total iron oxide, 0.1 0.3 manganese cobalt oxide in an amount effective produce concentration 0.0002 0.0013 (about 2 13 ppm). The is characterized by ratio ferrous between 0.43 0.58. exhibits combination high visible transmittance, infrared absorption enhanced coloration. This attributed large part the effect reducing sulfide formation thereby avoiding amber
