摘要: The invention is a method of preventing the formation nickel sulfide stones in soda-lime-silica glass. Nickel compounds are often added as colorants or enter glass batch an impurity from raw materials. It involves mixing materials together, melting and refining them to form molten glass, improvement comprising step reducing by adding 0.01-2.0 wt. % oxygen containing manganese compound calculated dioxide. may be oxide salts permanganic acid such sodium potassium permanganate.
