摘要: We report the final redshift release of 6dF Galaxy Survey (6dFGS), a combined and peculiar velocity survey over southern sky (|b| > 10°). Its 136 304 spectra have yielded 110 256 new extragalactic redshifts catalogue 125 071 galaxies making near-complete samples with (K, H, J, r_F, b_J) ≤ (12.65, 12.95, 13.75, 15.60, 16.75). The median is 0.053. data, including images, spectra, photometry redshifts, are available through an online data base. describe changes to information in base since earlier interim releases. Future releases will include dispersions, distances velocities for brightest early-type galaxies, comprising about 10 per cent sample. Here we provide maps local Universe z 0.1, showing nearby large-scale structures hitherto unseen detail. A number regions known previously paucity confirmed as significantly underdense regions.
