摘要: In the last century, human activities have contributed to fragmentation and loss of 80 % original surface a Mediterranean steppe rangeland in south-eastern France. recent ecological restoration project, an intensively cultivated orchard 357 ha planted 1987 among vegetation was rehabilitated as herbaceous habitat for birds after its abandonment 2006. addition, three experimental treatments (nurse species seeding, hay transfer; soil transfer) were applied at large scale test vegetation. Our four-year study aimed assess effect this rehabilitation on Orthoptera assemblages. Capturing with sweep nets, we measured richness, abundance, Shannon index, evenness, Renkonen similarity index two community structure indices. results reveal no significant differences abundance diversity between control reference 4 years, indicating that did not significantly accelerate natural recolonization. year survey, abundances still lower restored than steppe. Thus, future monitoring will need determine whether similar is achieved these treatments.
