摘要: Controlled release vascular implants, such as grafts, stents, wraps, and gels comprising a biocompatible polymer all trans retinoic acid (ATRA), or its derivatives, can be used to treat, prevent, inhibit thrombosis and/or neointimal hyperplasia which may otherwise induced by prosthetic implantation. In particular, the implants herein smooth muscle cell proliferation, hyperplasia, upregulate antithrombotic genes nitric oxide production in vasculature. Further, are capable of delivering controlled predictable localized concentrations ATRA.
