摘要: A decomposition approach of the kinematical method limit analysis is first presented. It based on a mixed variational and convex interior point solver, using linear or quadratic discontinuous velocity fields. Exposed in plane strain, this appears rapidly convergent, as verified Tresca compressed bar problem. Then applied to classical problem stability factor vertical slope: upper bound lowered from 3.882 3.7778. This value be compared lower just increased 3.772 3.7752 by same solver extension statical with infinite elements.
