摘要: Insights are provided into the properties of molecular gels formed by diimidazolium salts both in "normal" solvents and ionic liquids. These materials can be interesting for applications green sustainable chemistry which liquids play a significant role, like catalysis energy. In particular, two positional isomers cation have been examined with wide range anions their ability to form gel phases. di-, tri-, tetravalent bearing aliphatic or aromatic spacers were paired divalent cations. The organo- ionogels analyzed means several different techniques, including calorimetry, rheology, resonance light scattering, UV/Vis absorption, polarizing optical microscopy, powder X-ray diffraction measurements. investigations performed enabled us obtain conductive characterized high thermal stability low corrosiveness gelator (organogels) solvent (ionogels). information gained should useful broader quest identify promote applications.
