摘要: Pancreatic secretions have an important role in the regulation of a normal nutritional state but can be altered owing to variety pathophysiological mechanisms context exocrine pancreatic disease. The development endoscopic technique for collection fluid, termed function testing, has led improved understanding these alterations and is particularly helpful characterize chronic pancreatitis. In addition, investigators found endoscopically collected fluid valuable biofluid purposes translational science. Techniques such as proteomic, cytokine, genetic mutation, DNA methylation, microRNA analyses, among others, utilized gain better molecular characteristics pancreatitis other diseases. Endoscopic safe relatively straightforward, permitting opportunities longitudinal analysis markers throughout course This manuscript summarizes our current knowledge with emphasis on proper techniques sample handling, its clinical utility, preliminary observations
