摘要: Abstract Tris-HCl or Laemmli sample buffer extracted frontal lobe and hippocampal samples from normal aged Alzheimer's disease (AD) subjects were used to determine total ubiquitin (Ub), distribution of monomeric Ub Ub-protein conjugates amyloid enhancing factor (AEF) activity using the dot-blot. Western blot mouse AEF bioassay techniques, respectively. The AD samples, as compared normals, demonstrated a 1.7-fold increase in Ub, elevated levels an appreciably enhanced activity. Many found be soluble only buffer. possible roles association with are discussed regard pathogenesis brain amyloidosis.
