摘要: This paper discusses the key issues that confront power system planners and operators when integrating wind plants into electric system. A question is how variations in plant outputs affect operation of on a daily basis what associated costs are. These are lower than initially expected by some utility engineers. The main reason for this tends to behave more like negative load traditional firm-block generation, has been designed handle significant routine basis. summarizes results integration studies conducted date provides insights from individual studies. present simulations operations employ well-established production-costing unit-commitment computational tools.
