摘要: The decision to treat retinal breaks and degenerations prophylactically should be made with an awareness of the incidence complications associated argon laser photocoagulation (ALP). We evaluated retrospectively 2,000 eyes treated ALP, follow-up from 6 84 months (mean 46 months). only during were petectal intra- preretinal hemorrhages, which absorbed after a few days. Complications treatment limited epiretinal membrane formation in macular area four (0.2%). applied energy three these was significantly greater 34.4 mJ) than total 7.2 mJ). This finding supports observation by other authors that extensive is increased formation.
