摘要: The current report used structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to objectively measure olfactory bulb volume and sulcal depth in patients diagnosed with chronic schizophrenia healthy controls. Additional measures were obtained assess function. sulcus manually traced on 3T MRIs for 25 right-handed male matched A sub-set of subjects received the University Pennsylvania Smell Identification Test (UPSIT). Olfactory was significantly decreased compared controls, as their performance UPSIT. Additionally, a positive correlation seen between right UPSIT scores. Overall, our findings support earlier research studies showing morphometric functional changes system schizophrenia.
