摘要: Breast cancer (BC) is the most common cause of death among women worldwide. Characterized by heterogeneous nature, treatment breast becomes very challenging considering its late detection. Causes for and their modalities have been well identified; still management disease an uphill task due to complex pathophysiology associated with it. Chemotherapy has remained mainstay BC, although advent novel targeted therapies, a paradigm shift seen in options available BC. Targeted regimes toward receptors expressed on tumorous surfaces are developed that deploy antibodies peptides treating Moreover, avoidance side effects chemotherapy concomitant annihilation cancerous cells, it imperative understand underlying mechanisms governing process. Therefore, attempt comprehensive understanding subject, this chapter explores some important involved such as estrogen receptor, progesterone human epidermal receptor-2. Special emphasis given modulation signal transduction mechanism attaining desired goals. Various formulation aspects currently undertaken BC also discussed brief.
