摘要: Abstract Procarbazine, an anti-cancer agent, administered intraperitoneally to adult, male rats induced a characteristic morphological pattern of response in the seminiferous epithelium. Seminiferous tubules receiving 100 mg/kg procarbazine and higher dosages displayed spermatids which were less mature than those normally found within show particular cell association. Early steps 1–7 spermiogenesis appeared arrested their development present associations had advanced normally. The most probable cause this apparent germ arrest was retardation acrosomal since is known affect RNA consequently protein synthesis. Other features indicated defective synthesis presence abnormal spermatid nucleoli abnormally configured chromatoid bodies. This study demonstrates, contrast what by dogma, that temporary may occur under certain deleterious conditions. It also illustrates types association be out synchrony with remainder cells
