摘要: This study determined the quantitative and qualitative histopathologic effects of a single oral dose 1,3-dinitrobenzene (48 mg/kg) on rat testis from 1 to 175 days postexposure. The was damaged severely by hour 24, as evidenced increased numbers regressive seminiferous tubules that exhibited degenerating pachytene spermatocytes, chromatin margination in spermatids, giant cells, deformed spermatid heads, retained reduced meiotic figures. major during first 48 hours posttreatment were degeneration or exfoliation spermatocytes round spermatids retention step 19 spermatids. These continued until 24 days, after which either recovered became atrophic. At end (175 days), three males normal, one had regressed testicles, atrophic (15 45%). Several cellular abnormalities common throughout period. In addition, frequency stages spermatogenesis altered, an indication disturbance kinetics spermatogenesis. 1,3-Dinitrobenzene produced profound specific lesions tubules, recovery slow incomplete. Atrophic seemed form if normal associations not reestablished within possibly due inability Sertoli cells reorganize synchrony germ cell development.
