摘要: Myosin light chain kinase which phosphorylates g2 of skeletal muscle myosin requires an activator for the activity (Yazawa, M., and Yagi, K (1977) J. Biochem. (Tokyo) 82, 287-289). This has now been identified as modulator protein known to be a Ca2+-dependent regulator phosphodiesterase, adenylate cyclase, ATPases. The identification is based on quantitative cross-reactivity brain in activating phosphodiesterase identical properties both proteins regard sensitivities Ca2+, UV absorption spectra, difference spectra with or without mobilities upon sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. In presence protein, was reversibly controlled by physiological concentration Ca2+. We suggest that two Ca2+-receptive proteins, i.e. troponin-C, may play roles contraction-relaxation cycle muscle.
