摘要: The therapeutic potency of garlic leaf extract obtained from normal and sulphur treated plants was compared. Alliin, the active compound showed ∼32% increase in yield under conditions. Alliin brought a significant reduction serum glucose, triglycerides, total lipids, cholesterol, LDL- VLDL-cholesterol levels than glibenclamide alloxan-induced diabetic rats. more effective comparison to that raised Serum glucose 50% rats administered with 37% noted plants. No alteration HDL-cholesterol noted. Similarly, alliin lowered enzyme (ALP, AST ALT) towards glibenclamide. conditions present findings suggest possess antidiabetic potential hence show
