摘要: The cholinergic anti-inflammatory reflex (CAIR) represents an important homeostatic regulatory mechanism for sensing and controlling the body's response to inflammatory stimuli. Vagovagal reflexes are integral component of CAIR whose effects mediated by acetylcholine (ACh) acting at α7 nicotinic receptors (α7nAChR) located on cells immune system. Recently, it is appreciated that α7nAChR also participate in control metabolic homeostasis. This has led understanding defective vagovagal circuitry underlying might explain coexistence obesity, diabetes, inflammation syndrome. Thus, there renewed interest mediates CAIR, particularly from standpoint therapeutics. Of special note recent finding agonist GTS-21 acts L-cells distal intestine stimulate release two glucoregulatory anorexigenic hormones: glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) peptide YY (PYY). Furthermore, PNU 282987 exerts trophic factor-like actions support pancreatic β-cell survival under conditions stress resembling diabetes. review provides overview function as pertains reflexes, We consider possible usefulness agonists treatment inflammation.
