摘要: The objective of the study is to describe distinguishing characteristics commercial sexual exploitation children/child sex trafficking victims (CSEC) who present for health care in pediatric setting. This a retrospective patients aged 12-18 years presented any three emergency departments or one child protection clinic, and were identified as suspected CSEC. sample was compared with gender age-matched allegations abuse/sexual assault (CSA) without evidence CSEC on variables related demographics, medical reproductive history, high-risk behavior, injury history exam findings. There 84 participants, 27 group 57 CSA group. Average age 15.7 15.2 patients; 100% 94.6% female. two groups significantly differed 11 evaluated areas more likely have had experiences violence, substance use, running away from home, involvement protective services and/or law enforcement. also longer activity. Adolescent differ abuse their high risk authorities, violence.
