摘要: The invisibility of men and boys in scholarly discussions the global sex trade was analyzed through a sample 166 recent articles published social science journals. Most failed to acknowledge existence male workers at all. When were discussed, they assigned considerably more agency than female workers, chief danger ascribed them HIV rather violence, question their sexual orientation always addressed, whereas assumed heterosexual. results are discussed context world system theory, Orientalism, heteronormativity.
