摘要: In recent years, scholars have begun to investigate the role of digital technologies, namely Internet, in facilitating growth sexual commerce. However, I argue that this literature is altogether too optimistic, focusing primarily on affordances Internet-based work, neglect new dangers emerge online. addition, by only online practices escorts, paint homogenized portrait diversity labor performed This also neglects among themselves (e.g., race, ethnicity, class, gender, age, ability). order address limitations, make nine specific suggestions for future lines inquiry.
