摘要: The clinicopathologic features of 26 cases hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) surrounded by a grossly distinct capsule-like fibrous tissue were studied. frequency this type was 10.3% among autopsy HCC. mean age the patients 64.1 years, which significantly older compared with that 143 nonencapsulated Hepatitis-B surface antigen in serum positive 18.7% studied, positivity rate being lower than HCC general. Histologically, tumor relatively well differentiated and capsule product slow expanding growth. Intravenous invasion less frequent other types Clinically, celiac angiography proves to be most useful diagnostic method; thick may demonstrated as thin radiolucent rim around mass. clinical course from early stage is protracted and, if detected early, removed surgically.
