摘要: Abstract 1. Extracts of the liver fluke, Fasciola hepatica from three different hosts (cow, sheep, rat) have been subjected to radioimmunoassay using antisera 6 mammalian regulatory peptides. 2. Immunoreactivity was measured pancreatic polypeptide, substance P, peptide histidine isoleucine and gastrin-releasing peptide. Levels each varied considerably in flukes hosts. 3. Reverse-phase HPLC rat sheep fluke extracts revealed molecular forms tachykinin immunoreactivity single peaks polypeptide immunoreactivity. No GRP-immunoreactivity detected by RIA fractions.
