摘要: Multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) is the primary cause of death in patients admitted to ICUs. Despite development better resuscitation, more powerful antibiotics, and sophisticated methods for support, our ability rescue from established MODS has not improved significantly since was first described two decades ago. Rapid advancements molecular biology have begun unravel some potential mechanisms behind this syndrome, suggested many therapeutic approaches.
