摘要: Background Self-image is the subjective perception about one's own self, body, mental functioning, social attitudes, and adjustment in different aspects of life. Research has linked negative self-image with a number problem behaviors psychiatric symptoms adolescence; however, studies relationship between anxiety disorders are still scarce. Method This study involved community sample 1305 high-school students (51.4% female) who ranged age from 14 to 19 years old. They completed self-report measures disorder (SAD). Results A quarter reported high levels anxiety. Statistical analyses showed significant differences these other all subscales. Several dimensions impaired (emotional tone, vocational educational goals, family relationships, external mastery, psychological health) were associated anxiety, some gender underpinning relationships. Conclusions Clinicians treating SAD youth may wish consider that play critical role onset retention symptoms.
