摘要: The changes in the signals for brain metabolites left cerebellum of a 14-year-old boy with acute hemicerebellitis were monitored using proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS). From onset disease treatment to long-term follow-up, MRS data serially acquired from and right cerebella, basal ganglia (BG), centrum semiovale (CS). Large fluctuations his observed cerebellum. At (first day), glutamate/glutamine complex increased (>mean ± 2 standard deviations [SD] control), those N-acetylaspartate/N-acetylaspartylglutamate myo-inositol decreased (<2SD). By 25th day, these had recovered normal levels, while choline (Cho) increased. In other locations, mIns BG Cho CS on seventh day. 201st levels all locations within 2SD control levels. vivo monitoring demonstrated reversible metabolite associated hemicerebellitis, which should contribute its differential diagnosis tumors.
