Suggestions for prevention of adverse reactions after intravasal administration of iodinated contrast media

摘要: Iodinated contrast media are widely used in computed tomography and angiography. Adverse reactions such as contrast-medium induced nephropathy (CIN), anaphylactoid iodine-induced thyrotoxicosis associated with intravasal administration of agents. agents generally considered to be safe, but rare cases they can cause severe life threatening situations. In this review we present an overview about the incidence, pathways, risk factors adverse reactions. Simple schemes including hydration protocols for prevention CIN, medication prophylaxis thyreostatics histamine antagonists corticosteroids suggested.
