摘要: The aim of this study was to determine heavy metal reference levels for risk assessment studies. For purpose, the lead, cadmium, copper and zinc were determined in liver tissues wild boars sampled NW Spain. mean values 0.383, 0.326, 23.50 56.86 mg/kg dried weight, respectively. In general, detected similar or lower than reported literature. This not only provides a useful baseline biomonitoring analyzed contaminants wildlife Spain, it also helps understand effects gender on these elements. Similar studies performed other geographical regions, no significant gender-related differences could be detected. Although significant, zinc, cadmium lead modestly higher males (55.78, 0.346 0.424 mg/kg, respectively) compared females (45.25, 0.305 0.341 mg/kg). Our results indicate that, although did significantly affect uptake toxicokinetics boars, vary between species, populations, organs, It is therefore essential investigate each species.
